Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial equipment. You will work on wiring, control, and lighting systems, and inspect electrical components to ensure they meet safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings, as well as the ability to use various testing devices to identify and solve electrical problems.
ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints or technical diagrams.Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.Inspect electrical components to ensure compliance with safety standards.Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial equipment.Perform go/no-go testing and some number crunching.Test prototype firmware.Essential Skills3-5 years of overall experience in a related field.Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.Knowledge of AC power fundamentals.Comfortable with mathematics.Experience with electrical testing equipment.Understanding of schematic and blueprint reading.Ability to differentiate between various wire gauges (e.g., 10g/12g).Additional Skills & QualificationsDevice with embedded systems.Knowledge of the difference between energy and power.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. The facility builds large electrical chassis, and the units themselves are about 6-10 feet tall.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
