Job Title: Electrical Software Engineer Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Software Engineer who will be responsible for programming, supporting customers remotely, and testing machines online. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical design using EPLAN and will be proficient in various programming languages and software tools. Responsibilities + Program and troubleshoot PLCs using Structured Text, Ladder Logic, and Function Block Diagram. + Support customers remotely by going online and testing machines. + Design electrical systems using EPLAN. + Utilize Codesys for machine software programming. + Integrate HMI systems. + Work with industrial networking and communication protocols. + Ensure compliance with fieldbus protocols and industry standards such as ISO, TwinSAFE, and SICK Safe. Essential Skills + 1+ years of experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and diagnostics. + Proficiency in TwinCAT (XAE and XAR), EtherCAT, and Codesys. + Knowledge of fieldbus protocols and industry standards. + Experience with HMI integration. + Strong understanding of industrial networking and communication protocols. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Visual Basic or Unity experience. + Experience in machine automation. + Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering. + Exposure to electrical drawings and diagrams. Work Environment This position is 100% onsite, Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with minimal supervision. The current team members are located overseas with a 7-hour time difference. This is not a traveling role, but there is a rare possibility of travel. Typically, Engineering Field Technicians handle travel requirements. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.67/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
