Electrical Test Engineer
Job Title: Test Engineer Job Description Provide test engineering for the facility. Support the Test Engineering function by offering guidance and support to other test engineers. Troubleshoot test fixtures, software, and procedures. Responsibilities + Perform analysis, diagnostics, and preliminary evaluations of products. + Develop testing procedures and fixtures as required. + Develop test procedures, equipment, and fixture design. + Analyze customer requirements and develop testing procedures. + Repair and maintain test fixtures. + Install test software, programming software, and repair test PCs. + Repair and troubleshoot test PCs. + Assist Production with test needs and troubleshooting PCA down to the component level. + Set up and support the Engineering VLAN. Essential Skills + PCB troubleshooting + In-circuit testing (ICT) + Flying probe testing + Electrical engineering + Test engineering + Developing test procedures + PCB testing + Programming IC testing (platform-independent) + Experience with tools such as DFM Expert, Stencil Designer, CAM365, SMT Expert, Test Expert, AOI & AXI Accelerator, SPI Expert, and Document Expert + Board level testing and troubleshooting Additional Skills & Qualifications + Test fixture design + Experience with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer + Understanding of analog and digital circuits + Experience with SMT + Rework with through-hole soldering About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
