Job Title: Electrical Test EngineerJob Description The primary responsibility of the Electrical Test Engineer is charger and power converter component validation. You will generate test reports and test plans, collaborating with design and validation teams within the electrification teams. The majority of your time will be spent in the lab, but you will also engage in design activities in the office. This role is part of the Advanced Power Products group, which supports aggressive electrification and alternative power generation initiatives. Responsibilities + Validate charger and power converter components. + Generate and review test reports and test plans. + Collaborate with design and validation teams. + Spend the majority of time performing lab-based testing and validation. + Engage in office-based design activities. + Create and analyze data acquired from tests. + Conduct HiPot Test and Low Voltage Checkout Test. + Test, qualify, and develop test plans for power electronic converters used in portable battery energy storage systems and battery chargers. Essential Skills + Experience with test procedures and validation. + Knowledge of power electronics and hardware testing. + Proficiency with electrical engineering principles. + Skilled in using oscilloscopes and other hardware testing tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Relevant qualifications in Power Electronics or Electrical Engineering. Work Environment The work environment primarily involves lab work with some office-based design activities. You will collaborate closely with design and validation teams, utilizing advanced testing equipment and tools. The role supports the Advanced Power Products group, which is focused on electrification and alternative power generation initiatives.
