Job Title: Test Engineer

Job Description

Provide test engineering for the facility. Support the Test Engineering function by offering guidance and support to other test engineers. Troubleshoot test fixtures, software, and procedures.

ResponsibilitiesPerform analysis, diagnostics, and preliminary evaluations of products.Develop testing procedures and fixtures as required.Develop test procedures, equipment, and fixture design.Analyze customer requirements and develop testing procedures.Repair and maintain test fixtures.Install test software, programming software, and repair test PCs.Repair and troubleshoot test PCs.Assist Production with test needs and troubleshooting PCA down to the component level.Set up and support the Engineering VLAN.Essential SkillsPCB troubleshootingIn-circuit testing (ICT)Flying probe testingElectrical engineeringTest engineeringDeveloping test proceduresPCB testingProgramming IC testing (platform-independent)Experience with tools such as DFM Expert, Stencil Designer, CAM365, SMT Expert, Test Expert, AOI & AXI Accelerator, SPI Expert, and Document ExpertBoard level testing and troubleshootingAdditional Skills & QualificationsTest fixture designExperience with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscope and spectrum analyzerUnderstanding of analog and digital circuitsExperience with SMTRework with through-hole soldering
