The Job:
As an Electrical Test Engineer, you'll be part of our Outdoor Power Equipment testing team working as an on-site employee in Valley City, OH. As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and safety of our electrical systems and components. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute comprehensive electrical tests, analyze test results, and provide recommendations for improvement. In addition, provide support for all autonomous testing programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering principles, hands-on experience with testing methodologies, and a passion for ensuring product excellence and customer satisfaction. You'll get to:

Design and develop electrical test plans and procedures based on product requirements.•    Perform functional, performance, and safety tests on electrical systems, components, and prototypes.•    Collaborate with design engineers to define test requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria for new products or modifications to existing products.•    Evaluate and select appropriate test equipment and tools required for specific tests.•    Develop and maintain test fixtures, test setups, and specialized test equipment as needed.•    Develop and implement automated testing programs to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.•    Generate test reports, including analysis of test results and recommendations for improvements.

BS in Electrical Engineering or related field, with 1+ years of experience.Hands-on individual with strong electrical & mechanical skills.Experience with electrical testing methodologies, tools, and equipment and proficiency in the use of electrical testing instruments, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.Experience with designing and executing electrical tests, including functional, performance, and safety tests. Experience with electric motors and controllers is a plus.Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. LabVIEW, PLC) and automation tools for test automation is a plus.
