Job Title: Test / Electrical Engineer
Job Description
As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the testing, validation/qualification planning, and design input for an electrical motor product. You will conduct tests using MATLAB/LabView for high power electronics.
Responsibilities
+ Develop, analyze, and validate test plans
+ Execute manual tests through LabView and MATLAB
+ Conduct tests for high power electronics ranging from 3-70 kW
+ Contribute to motor control and high power electronics testing
+ Work on validation/qualification planning and design input
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in LabView
+ Experience with MATLAB
+ Strong knowledge in validation and test planning
+ Background in electrical engineering and power electronics
+ Experience with high power electronics (3-70 kW)
+ Experience working with DC/AC and DC/DC converters
+ Experience with three-phase inverters
+ Experience running, analyzing, and developing manual testing for hardware products
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Background in regulated environments
+ Experience in verification/qualification planning
Work Environment
The work environment includes a combination of R&D and Manufacturing facilities with multiple buildings on the campus. The team consists of engineering and manufacturing groups that predominantly work onsite. The culture is vibrant with various social activities such as picnics with food trucks and lawn games, offsite events, and charity drives. The company emphasizes a balanced work/life schedule, minimizing overtime.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00
