CACI's Mastodon Design team is looking to hire a Electrical Test Technician in Rochester, NY. This organization specializes in designing and building hardware and software to meet our customers’ next requirement. We focus on offering devices that can be fielded immediately to meet the mission needs that lie directly ahead. Size, weight, power, and packaging are of paramount importance in everything we design and build. Our expertise allows us to rapidly provide these solutions in specialized electronic/mechanical design, embedded & application-level software, reverse engineering & protocol analysis, and RF signals exploitation and communications systems.

What You’ll Get to Do:

Test, troubleshoot, and repair custom radio products down to component levelWork alongside operations team to manufacture custom radio products in support of customer deliveriesContribute to process improvement by identifying and communicating problems to root causeCollaborate across both operations and engineering teams to accomplish tasks

More About the Role:

Conduct tests on custom designed RF and digital printed circuit boardsConduct tests on product subassemblies, end products, and multi-product systemsTroubleshoot product, subassembly, and circuit board failures to component levelUse a variety of test equipment and log information in a technical databaseUse hand tools such as long nose pliers, screw drivers, soldering irons, and wrenchesEnsure that all tools and equipment are within calibration and expiration dates

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Experience using a variety of test equipment.History of maintaining consistent quality and productivity levelsRegularly demonstrates a positive attitudeWillingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production environmentAbility to follow detailed work instructions and test proceduresAbility to use your hands in a skillful, coordinated way to grasp and manipulate objects and demonstrate small, precise movementsBachelor's degree with 3yrs of related experience is required, or equivalent combination of education, skills, and more years of experienceAbility to use Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering theoryElectronics Troubleshooting ExperienceAbility to read and understand engineering schematicsFamiliar with basic test equipment, i.e. signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, and spectrum analyzers

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$52,300-$107,200
