Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Electrical Tester in El Paso, TX.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year.

**What you’ll do:**
Eaton has the largest and most experienced team of field services technicians and engineers in the industry, and we are looking to grow our team.
**In this role, you will:**
· Prepare and complete electrical tests on various size/type breakers to ensure conformance with required specifications and coordination studies.
· Effectively use various electrical test equipment, hand tools, handling equipment, including primary injection, insulation resistance, etc. Assemble, adjust or repair using hand and air tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges and measuring device assemblies and sub-assemblies of a repetitive and/or non-repetitive nature as required.
· Diagnose and correct problems or contact manager or engineer to verify testing priorities, breaker circuit operations or to suggest methods to correct errors.
· Prepare related test records and documentation using the computer following required specifications and general order interpretations.
· Research and analyze information relating to nonstandard equipment and translate into known manufacturing processes or capabilities.

· Proficient computer skills
· Knowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with electrical and electronic equipment.
· Experiencing in using electrical test equipment and interpreting coordination studies.
· Proficient with hand and power tools for equipment assembly
· Strong communication skills
· Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills
· Collaborates effectively with the team to meet project deadlines.
· Performs physically demanding tasks, requirement to stand, walk, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach above, to, and below shoulder level, lift, carry, push, pull, and use hands to handle and feel. Frequently required to climb and regularly required to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds; occasionally required to push/pull greater than 50 pounds with assistance.
**Basic Qualifications**
• Associate degree in industrial Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics or closely related electrical field course study or 2 years related work experience.
• Must be able to work in the US without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation offered, candidates within 50-mile radius considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
**Preferred Qualifications**
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• At least 1 year of experience using hand and air tools.
• At least 1 year of experience with electrical testing
• Forklift or industrial equipment operation.
