Full-time Permanent role supporting Downer’s Energy and Utilities business EBA rates $48.85 p/h  Monday – Friday 6:30AM – 2:30 PM with options for additional hours and monthly RDO Local position working from Hunter Valley, NSW Tight-knit team environment within a workplace that focuses on Zero Harm

 

Our Energy and Utilities business has opportunities for Electricians to join the maintenance and minor projects team.  You will be required to perform maintenance tasks on the Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP). Identify, report, and act on all hazards, comply with the Health Safety Environment Management System, and Maintain CHPP equipment as requested during scheduled/unscheduled maintenance periods. Ensuring the work is completed safely, effectively, and to the required standard. 

 

ABOUT YOU

Electrical Trade Qualifications & Licence Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) production or maintenance experience (preferred) Ability to read electrical schematics, perform and understand control wiring. Skills including cable, cable ladder & conduit installation.  Hold a White Card, Low Voltage Rescue + CPR, Working at Heights & Current driving licence  High Risk work licence/ Elevated Work Platform (EWP), Confined Space – highly desirable Able to work effectively both autonomously and within a team of trades well-developed communication skills with a commitment to safety.
