We are supporting an established consulting engineering firm in Oakville, Ontario, in their search for an energetic and dynamic Electrical Transportation Engineer to join their growing Transportation department. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on the design and review of Electrical Traffic Signals and Roadway Lighting projects.

Key Responsibilities:Design and review electrical systems for transportation infrastructure, including traffic signals and roadway lighting.Ensure compliance with standards set by the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) and/or local municipalities.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.Utilize AutoCAD and, where applicable, MicroStation, to create and review technical designs.Conduct field assessments and provide technical expertise to support project needs.Candidate Qualifications:P.Eng. designation is required.Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution and lighting.Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; knowledge of MicroStation is considered an asset.Strong computer skills with the ability to adapt to industry-specific software.Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for field-related tasks.What Sets You Apart:Familiarity with MTO and/or local municipal standards will be highly valued.A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Compensation and Benefits:
