PCSI is looking for an Electrician in Ft. Knox, Kentucky! Performs electrical installation, maintenance and repair of facility electrical systems. Installs, inspects, adjusts, test, maintains and repairs electrical wiring systems, related switches, distribution panels and outlet boxes and a wide variety of electrical fixtures. This position will report to the Electrical Supervisor and is based out of Ft. Knox, Kentucky. Typical work hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 am- 3:30 pm.

What You'll Do as Electrician maintenance:
Performs electrical installation, maintenance and repair of facility electrical systems. Coordinate maintenance and repair activities in support of facility goals. Assists area personnel and completes special assignments as needed. Installs, inspects, adjusts, test, maintains and repairs electrical wiring systems, related switches, distribution panels and outlet boxes and a wide variety of electrical fixtures. Electrical equipment that will require maintenance and repair include electrical switch boxes, lighting circuits, branch and transfer circuits, HVAC fans and switches, and related shop equipment. Will be required to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit, inserts, splicing and connecting wire to fixtures, outlets, switches receptacles and power sources. Responsible for all work orders scheduled and assigned by the Electrical Supervisor and PMO Supervisor.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
What You'll Need to Be Successful:
High school graduate and/or GED equivalent require Must have working knowledge of all national and local electrical codes. Journeyman license strongly preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have experience in installation, troubleshooting, testing, repair and maintenance of all electrical systems and devices including low and high voltage systems located on Fort Knox. Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.Other Requirements:
Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening. Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors. Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Possess valid Kentucky State driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
