Job Responsibilities and Duties:\n

At Sibanye-Stillwater this position will function as a maintenance electrician for East Boulder's underground mine support. The primary responsibilities will include maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Electricians at the East Boulder site will assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical, and electronic and instrumentation systems. Our systems include high, medium, and low voltage circuits, AC and DC motors and associated variable speed drives, all types of electronic instrumentation, PLC's, and the distributive control systems and documentation related to them. As a secondary function, Sibanye-Stillwater's underground electricians may be required to assist the surface electrical crews.\n

Qualifications and Skills:\n

Required:\n\nElectrical maintenance or electrical construction experience with skills necessary to meet applicable task proficiency matrix.\nMust be able to read electrical schematics.\nWorking knowledge of NFPA 70E and NEC electrical standards.\nProven safety record.\nUnderstanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.\nIndependent work habits (ability to work with little or no supervision).\nExperience with PLC's Programming, ladder logic, and Rockwell automation software.\nAble to meet minimum tool requirements for position (tool allowance provided).\n\n

Preferred:\n\nComputer skills.\nHigh voltage experience.\nElectrical license \/ MSHA Electrical Certification Electrical license\/MSHA Certification.\nExperience with PLC's Programming, ladder logic and Rockwell automation software.\nUnderground experience.\n\n
