Job Description JOB TITLE Electrician WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU? + Competitive compensation/pay package $30-38 + Dental/Vision/Medical benefits + Life Insurance + Health Spending Account + Employee Support and Mental Wellness + Competitive matched retirement savings program – 401k (US) / RRSP (Canada) + Be part of a long standing and stable industry leader WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL BE; + Install, maintain and troubleshoot distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers and fuse disconnects. + Manage assigned work orders. + Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment. + Work in a team player environment with other maintenance personnel. + Communicate effectively up and down the chain of command. + Work with computers, line drive, and PLCs, + Understand and comply with all safety rules + Comprehend and use technical manuals and schematics. + Organize work area, tools and parts. + Work with minimal supervision; manage time effectively while handling multiple jobs with varying priorities. + The position is subject to 24-hour call out; shift and weekend work. + Must be able to stand for long periods. Must be able to climb stairs and work on high up areas. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE; + Knowledge of Safety Systems and their application/use + Minimum of five years electrical maintenance experience in a plant setting. + Knowledge of Allen Bradley Drives, Relay Logic, PLCs and Programming. + Experience with various instrumentation sensors and transmitters. + Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting using remote HMI + Must be able to work with computer based maintenance software. + Possess superior analytical and troubleshooting skills.
