Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others. This position is based at Florence McClure Women's Correctional Center in North Las Vegas. Under general supervision, the incumbent performs all electrical preventative maintenance, maintains all electrical equipment and panels including emergency power generators and assists all other shops as needed. Incumbent is responsible for establishing priority of repair orders; diagnose problem, utilize the appropriate tools to test equipment; estimate job costs; and document time and cost for billing and accounting purposes.
