We currently have an opening for an Electrician at our Lithonia, GA Facility.  We are looking for a motivated individual who can function in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Electrician is expected to be proficient in all IP safety requirements, including, but not limited to: LOTT, Arc Flash, Hot Work, Radar and Lockout Exception Forms. He/she is expected to have the job specific skills necessary for all monthly PM inspections. The Electrician is expected to provide maintenance support to all production equipment at the Columbus plant. He/she is expected to be competent in fundamental electrical skills necessary for electrical troubleshooting (PLCs, drives (variable frequency and DC), control circuits, etc). The Electrician is expected to be a fully functional maintenance person, demonstrating job specific knowledge and leadership skills during major projects such as roll changes.

Electrical/Industrial Electronics Trade School graduation Minimum of two years industrial electrical repair experience Industrial electrical ability/experience to include: Skilled troubleshooting with volt meter DC drives and variable frequency AC drives Schematic reading and troubleshooting control circuits Troubleshooting PLC controls with a laptop Program a drive by setting up the initial parameters Mechanical electrical ability/experience must include: Servicing hydraulic and pneumatic systems General mechanical maintenance support of production equipment, Must be able to work in a team environment Must be willing to work weekends, including Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays as needed Must be willing to work additional hours as needed Must be willing to work any shift and flexible to provide coverage on a different shift as necessary
