Full-time 80 hours every 2 weeks | Mon-Fri 8a-430p

JOB SUMMARY:
The facility Electrician works on maintaining major equipment, repairs, and projects such as fire alarms, electrical power systems, emergency generators etc. (S) he works with other maintenance personnel to see that work performed on major equipment is done correctly, and assembles and maintains all pertinent documentation.

EDUCATION, LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS::

High School Diploma or GED required. Master Electrician License preferred; can accept journeyman license.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Vo-Tech course in Building Maintenance is a plus, with one year experience. 2 years plant operation & building maintenance preferred. Prior health care experience preferred. Must be knowledgeable on the safe operation of related equipment. Must have ability to trouble shoot and repair all types of equipment found in hospital independently.  Should have good understanding of how motors, pumps, heating and cooling systems, plumbing systems and related equipment and controls operate.
