Pay Grade: E3

Pay Scale: $26.92 - $33.05/ hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Job Summary

Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment.Performs general and preventive maintenance in specific areas of responsibility.Adheres to all documentation pertaining to positionWorks in assigned areas of the local facilities as neededUses personal protective equipment (PPE) as appropriateWorks well with all departments and management, always cooperating with supervision and associatesMaintains good housekeeping and sanitation habits that demonstrate a commitment to good manufacturing practices (GMPs)Carries tools as needed or requiredEnsures all work sites are properly maintained to optimize safety and cleanliness while working and after completing a job or projectAlerts management if product contamination has occurred or further sanitation is requiredInforms management, associates, and Production personnel of downtime, either direct or potential, that might affect them or their processCompletes all job related documentation accurately and neatlyDemonstrates workplace behavior that is consistent with company policies and valuesCommunicates job information to accomplish work tasksMaintains good attendance as defined by company and/or department policyPractices good personal hygiene and maintains a clean work areaExercises personal safety on the job and demonstrates a commitment to the safety of others and our products

Required Qualifications

Four years of experience in related field or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A Journeyman’s license is a minimum requirement.Must have or be able to obtain an LTO license, valid driver’s licenseStrong commitment to and support of McKee Foods values, ethics, goals and objectivesDemonstrated strong electronic, electrical,  mechanical competence and aptitude; good problem solving skillsDemonstrated good planning and organizational skillsMust have excellent safety, attendance and overall work recordKnowledge of and adherence to company policy and departmental proceduresDemonstrated ability to be self-motivated, work well with minimal supervision; high degree of initiativeWilling to work flexible hours and extended shifts as neededGood computer skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsAdaptable to and accepting to changeAbility to easily work with internal and external personnelWillingness to cross train and work in other areas and departments as neededWillingness to attend and participate in work-team meetings off shiftDemonstrated willingness to learn and grow professionallyWillingness to learn new tasks as they are assigned to the departmentWiliness to assist maintenance specialists and work anywhere neededKnowledge of and adherence to company food safety and product purity procedures, GMPs; good housekeeping skills

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and one year experienceCertificate in Industrial Electronics Willing to attend classes and seminars, off shift as neededWillingness to learn electrical and electronics task as needed
