Summary (About this Position):

We are currently looking for a skilled trades Electrician for our Warren, Ohio Manufacturing Operations

Responsibilities:

Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools to meet specificationsConnect wires to circuit breakers, transformers and other componentsDiagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problemInspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment/repairPerform all work in compliance with all related codesPlan, layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specificationsReplace or repair wiring, equipment and fixtures using hand and power toolsTest electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, etc. to ensure compatibility and safety of the systemWork from ladders, scaffolds, roofs, and aerial platforms to maintain/repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixturesPerform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling materials. Ability to bend, twist, stretch or reach with body, arms and/or legsTroubleshoot and repair computer controlled equipment, insert/remove cards, upload/download programs, heating/ventilation systems and set machine operating parametersInstall, maintain and adjust limit switches, proximity switches and fiber optic sensorsEnsure compliance with customer specific requirements

Must Haves (i.e. Basic Qualifications):

Journeyman card or required documentation to support 8 years or 16,000 hours working as an electricianDocumented work historyAbility to work any shift and/or shift pattern, including weekendsOne year of continuous employment
