SUMMARY

Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical power, communications, lighting, and controls systems, applying comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Interprets manufacturers’ manuals or similar instructional documentation. Applies an understanding of the interrelationships of circuits to determine plans for sequencing work, selecting tools, and testing instruments. Performs work in compliance with technical guidance and accepted practices. Inspects and tests equipment and maintains records of all work carried out. Fixes faulty wiring and components and replaces worn parts as needed. Maintains regular and punctual attendance. Performs other duties as assigned.
