We are looking for an Electrician in Las Vegas, NV. This individual will be a contributing member to our lighting and lighting controls warranty resolution work in a public school system. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical lighting systems, including circuits, switches, and lighting fixtures in a commercial setting. Ensure that all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations to meet safety and legal requirements. Installation of electrical materials/equipment such as switches, lights, etc. Utilize proper PPE gear for hazards associated with work, provided by employer.Perform duties autonomously over a large geographic area with minimal supervision. Effectively organize and plan work based upon work orders including coordinating materials with local suppliers. Analyze, Report, and Resolve field technical issues with Lighting Controls and Lighting systems. Identify and resolve electrical issues necessary to complete work such as malfunctioning equipment, circuit overloads, and wiring problems. Ensure that all electrical work meets quality standards and is completed to the client's satisfaction.Utilize computer systems to track work performed, time on site, material usage, and reporting to customer. Maintain accurate and detailed hour log of service and project time. Capability to support lead journeymen electrician with Analysis, Reports, MOP Sign off on work performed at job sites. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisor. 

Job Requirements / Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent.Demonstrated safety training/education preferred. OSHA 10 card and NFPA 70 E course required. OSHA 30 card preferred. Broad knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems focused on energy savings potential.3 or more years of experience in the electrical field.In-pursuit of Journeyman Electrician or current mechanical trade certifications preferred.Ensure that all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations to meet safety and legal requirements.Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any changes made to electrical systems. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, evolving, entrepreneurial work environment.Ability to drive a company service vehicle to and from K-12 schools within the Clark County School District. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time. Travel may include various means of transportation including automobile, public transportation, rail, and airplane.
