Duty Location: Estes Park, Colorado For living conditions go to: https://www.usbr.gov/gp/employment/living\_conditions.pdf Responsibilities -Performs the work of Journey Level, Power System Electrician without more than normal supervision. -Maintains, installs, repairs, and troubleshoots powerplant and mobile equipment. -Utilizes electrical equipment and applies knowledge of electrical circuitry. -Uses and maintains various machines, equipment, power, and hand tools associated with the Journey level Electrical trade. -Implements safe clearance procedures and safety standards. -Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, and manufacturer's instructions. -Operates high-voltage switches and related devices. -Works with medium and high voltage power, generation, and distribution. Requirements Conditions of Employment You must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National. You must be suitable for federal employment, determined by a background investigation.
