Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Journeyman Electricians for projects located in and around Lafayette, IN. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $37/hour based on experience & skill level.  If you are a Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

 

Job Scope:

Work on circuits & large scale electrical equipment from 4160 volts down to 110 voltsMeasure, cut, & install wiring & conduit systemsInstall and program electrical equipmenttroubleshoot or replace electrical components as neededPerform preventative maintenance inspections & oiling electrical motors and componentsInterpret PLC ladder logic programsOther tasks as assigned

Requirements:

6+ Years of Experience in the field Must have Commercial Electrical Experience Must have Experience working with Hand Tools, Power Tools, & Electronic Test Equipment Forklift and/or Scissor Lift CertificationKnowledge of Technological DevelopmentsKnowledge of NEC & Local Electrical CodesAbility to lift heavy objects Ability to read blueprints/schematicsCommunication SkillsStrong Attention to Detail Company Details
