Overview The role of the Electrician is to assist in the installation, upkeep, troubleshooting, and coordinate electrical equipment and electrical operations relating to the operation of the resort. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions (including but not limited to): Maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures Ability to work independently or as a part of a team while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills Support high and low voltage electrical work under supervision Residential and commercial electrical knowledge Able to read schematics and blueprints Coordination with contracted Resort Master Electrician as needed to complete task Qualifications Qualifications (knowledge, skills, certifications, education, etc.) Experience in residential/commercial construction desired Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role is preferred Have a working knowledge of how to operate lifting devices, hand tools, and power tools Working knowledge of electrical switch gear, motor starters, transformers, generators, relay logic, PLC, VFD a plus Oral and Written communication skills Ability to learn quickly through oral instruction or observation Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50lbs Climb Ladders Work in all weather conditions Work at heights Responsibilities: This role will be overseen by the Area Manager and will be expected to perform their duties satisfactorily with minimal direct supervision Work Environment: This role will require work inside and outside, supporting the functions of the resort. Position type and expected hours of work: 40-hour work week Must have valid driver's license
