Job Overview:

Maintain all electrical equipment and circuits in safe operating condition according to the National, State and Local Electrical Codes

Qualifications:

Required:

High School Diploma, Technical School graduate or equivalent.Three to five years as an Electrician.New Jersey Driver s License

Preferred:

New Jersey State Electrical License preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required:

New Jersey Driver s LicenseLicense

Scheduling Requirements:

Full-TimeDays40 Hours per week

Essential Functions:

Performs skilled tasks such as repairs and adjustments necessary for proper operation of mechanical, electrical, H.V.A.C., and plumbing but not limited too the following and in the priority instructed by supervision. Problems in completing the assigned work will be reported to Supervision immediately. Inspect, test, install, and repair lighting, power and signal circuits.Installation or replacement of circuits and equipment as necessary. Knowledge of emergency generation equipment and circuits. Maintains chlorine equipment and makes adjustments/repairs as. Responds immediately to alarms throughout the facility.Performs preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment according to established procedures; inspects, calibrates, adjusts, lubricates, replaces filters and repairs and replaces components.Knowledgeable in the operation of computerized systems and it s related equipment and is capable of making necessary adjustments. Installs, troubleshoots and repairs stationary equipment such as pumps, compressors, motors, sterilization and Power Plant machinery, etc.Ability to drive all types of automobiles/trucks/vans including 4 wheel drive, automatic and manual transmission.
