We are looking for a dedicated **Electrician** like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** Assists with maintaining the preventive maintenance program(s) to ensure uninterrupted operation of the facility's electrical system. Performs the installation and servicing of electrical equipment. Replaces, installs, repairs and tests electrical circuits, equipment, appliances and lighting systems as required. Maintains an inventory of parts and supplies to maximize the operational readiness of the facility's electrical system with due respect to the limitations of cost regulations and relative priorities. Work sites are left clean and tools are returned to the maintenance shop. Ability to diagnose system malfunctions on electrical equipment; repairs or replaces defective parts as necessary. Maintains electrical wiring and emergency generator systems. Inspects and tests equipment/electrical systems. Maintains compliance with JCAHO, federal, state and local standards and regulations. Demonstrates knowledge and is able to identify each patient's age specific needs to promote a safe environment needed by the patient group. Cooperates with supervisors, department heads and works well with staff. Complies with all building safety codes. Ability to be organized and flexible in stressful and emergency situations. Performs manual duties as requested (i.e., moving supplies or furniture, replacing light bulbs, removing trash). Ability to do work on his/her own with only normal supervision. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of how to use and maintain plant tools and equipment. Knowledge and observance of safety precautions. **What qualifications you will need:** + Completion of four (4) year Electrician Apprentice Program preferred. + Two to four (2-4) years of job-related experience. + Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NRP) certification within 90 days of hire. **Fairview Park Hospital** is a **175+ bed acute-care hospital** serving the City of Dublin, Laurens County, and the surrounding communities.
