**Job Title: Electrician** **Job Description** We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team for construction projects based in Savannah, Georgia. This position is responsible for installing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes. Work involves technical application of electrical principles. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices. **Responsibilities** + Install electrical panels, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and wiring in equipment. + Perform rough-ins and final installations of conduit and MC Cable. + Conduct start-up and energizing procedures for equipment. + Work with fire systems. + Focus on common areas such as main floor, basement work areas for employees, hallways, stairwells, restaurant, and rooftop bar. + Read blueprints and schematics. + Use all necessary electrical tools for the job. + Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant codes. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience or journeyman status in commercial electrical work. + Experience with hotel electrical systems is preferred. + Ability to install and troubleshoot electrical panels, lighting fixtures, switches, and outlets. + Proficiency in running MC Cable and conduit bending. + Understanding of electrical codes. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. + Experience with low voltage and medium voltage wiring. + Skill in using electrical tools such as voltage meters, drills, pliers, and wire strippers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Journeyman or equivalent status. + All training, education, and certifications will be considered during the hiring process. **Why Work Here?** This is a contract-to-hire position with the ultimate goal of providing a long-term job opportunity.
