**Job Title: Electrician** **Job Description** We are a leading electrical contractor in the state, specializing in new industrial and commercial projects. We are expanding our services to include a solar team, in addition to our traditional services. We partner with many manufacturers and have worked on new facilities for various prestigious clients. **Responsibilities** + Install and maintain electrical wiring up to 480V, primarily in non-live settings. + Perform new electrical construction tasks, including running and bending conduit. + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Adhere to and apply knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC). + Ensure compliance with OSHA standards (10-hour certification required within 2 weeks of starting). + Install and wire electrical panels. + Pull cable and wiring for various electrical projects. **Essential Skills** + Experience with electrical wiring, conduit installation, and construction. + Ability to run and bend conduit. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics. + Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC). + Familiarity with OSHA standards. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + OSHA 10-hour certification (can be obtained within 2 weeks of starting). + Experience with large industrial and commercial projects. + Comfortable working on construction sites and new builds with multiple subcontractors. **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive and dynamic work environment with opportunities for career growth. Our fleet of 35 up-to-date vehicles is fully stocked with equipment and machines for any job. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westport, Connecticut. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
