**Job Title: Electrician** **Job Description** We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team for construction projects based in Savannah, Georgia. This position is responsible for installing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes. The work involves the technical application of electrical principles using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices. **Responsibilities** + Install electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. + Ensure all work complies with relevant codes. + Perform rough-ins and finals install of conduit and MC Cable. + Install electrical panels, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and wiring in equipment. + Conduct start-up and energizing procedures of equipment. + Install and maintain fire systems. + Focus on work in common areas such as main floor, basement work areas for employees, hallways, stairwells, restaurant, and rooftop bar. + Provide necessary tools including knife, pliers/linemen, screwdrivers, nut drivers, keyhole saw, hacksaw, hammer, level (small 12"), channel locks, needle nose pliers/long nose pliers, voltage meter/tester, tool pouch/belt for electrical, diagonal pliers, wrenches (standard/metric), taps (6/32, 8/32, 10/24), wire strippers, socket set, tape measure (at least 25 ft.), side cutters, flashlight, cordless drill/impact drill, wrench set, crescent wrench. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience or journeyman status in commercial electrical work. + Experience with hotel electrical systems is preferred. + Ability to run MC Cable and pull cable. + Experience with the installation of lighting, panels, switches, outlets, and other electrical components. + Proficient in reading blueprints. + Thorough understanding of electrical codes. + Proficient in troubleshooting, conduit bending, cable repair, and electrical wiring. + Experience with switchgear. **Why Work Here?** This is a contract-to-hire position with the ultimate goal of offering long-term job opportunities.
