**Key Responsibilities:** + **Installation of Electrical Signs:** + Install electrical components for various types of signs (LED, neon, illuminated, etc.) both indoors and outdoors. + Run electrical wiring, connect circuits, and test electrical components to ensure proper operation. + Follow blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals for signage and electrical systems. + **Maintenance and Repair:** + Diagnose electrical issues with signs and perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty parts. + Perform routine maintenance to ensure all electrical signage is working correctly. + Troubleshoot power issues, circuit failures, and lighting malfunctions in signage. + **Safety and Compliance:** + Ensure that all installations and repairs comply with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations. + Use appropriate safety equipment, including personal protective gear, and follow safety procedures when working with electrical systems. + **Customer Service:** + Communicate with clients to assess their needs and ensure that signs are functioning according to their specifications. + Provide ongoing support to clients by performing inspections and offering recommendations for repairs or upgrades. + **Documentation:** + Keep accurate records of services provided, including repairs, maintenance work, and parts replaced. + Maintain an inventory of necessary tools and equipment, as well as a log of job schedules. + **Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:** + Quickly identify electrical or mechanical issues with signage and resolve them efficiently. + Use testing equipment to analyze electrical circuits and determine the source of malfunctions. + **Traveling and Fieldwork:** + Travel to different job sites for installations, repairs, and maintenance, which may require using a company vehicle or personal transport. **Skills and Qualifications:** + **Electrical Knowledge:** Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and safety practices. + **Technical Skills:** Ability to use tools and equipment such as multimeters, power drills, and voltage testers. + **Physical Stamina:** Ability to work in a variety of environments, including on ladders, scaffolding, or in high-rise locations. + **Attention to Detail:** Must have a keen eye for identifying faults in electrical systems and ensuring accurate installations. + **Problem-Solving Skills:** Ability to diagnose issues and make quick, effective repairs. + **Customer Service:** Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients professionally. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
