We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at a corn processing facility. The role involves working with all power components, performing preventative and reactive maintenance, and ensuring the efficient functioning of electrical systems.

ResponsibilitiesWork with power components up to 480 Volts.Perform electrical preventative maintenance to ensure continuous power supply.Wire and unwire motors, and run conduit as needed.Work on MCC Buckets, including changing out whole buckets, breaker boxes, fuses, E3s, sensors, photo eyes, control panels, monitors, motors, and lighting.Use a multimeter for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.Follow OHSA standards, including lockout/tag out procedures.Execute daily work orders, assess and fix jobs as required.Perform 75% of tasks as preventive maintenance, and manage emergency work orders as needed.Essential SkillsExperience working with up to 480 Volts.Proficient in performing electrical preventative maintenance.Experience in wiring and unwiring motors.Knowledge of OHSA standards (lockout/tag out).Ability to run conduit.Experience with AC/DC drivers.Proficient in using a multimeter.Capable of working on MCC Buckets and associated components.Ability to work independently, especially on Fridays.At least 2 years of experience as an electrician.Additional Skills & QualificationsJourneyman electrician certification or equivalent.Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers/macrometers.Basic knowledge of wiring and motor sizing.Recent experience as an electrician.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will work at a corn processing facility, completing five 8-hour shifts per week. The role involves working solo, especially on Fridays, and requires adaptability to handle both preventive and reactive maintenance tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $36.00/hr.
