A Solar Electrician will assist with the installation of new projects and the rehabilitation of existing. Electrician Duties and Responsibilities: + Installs and monitors performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement. + Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments. + Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. + Understand layout and assembly of solar modules/array and mounting hardware + Mechanical and structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment; + Basic electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC and DC) + Ensure proper clean-up of job site + Attend training sessions on new products, installation methodology, and safety; + Responsible for following the safe work practices for the installation team + All other assignments and special projects, as requested by Management.
