**Job Title: Electrician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled construction electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in grocery stores. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting electrical and construction blueprints, planning the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, and ensuring compliance with local building codes. You will also connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components, test electrical systems for compatibility and safety, and inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and the need for repairs. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret electrical and construction blueprints. + Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. + Ensure compliance with local building codes. + Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. + Test electrical systems for compatibility and safety. + Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and the need for repairs. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in electrical work, including conduit, wiring, and troubleshooting. + Ability to perform electrical services in a commercial environment. + Approximately 10 years of experience in the electrical field. + Comfortable working in a customer-facing, team environment. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical work. + Valid electrician's license in the state or locality. + Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work, particularly in construction environments. + Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr. Benefits include 401K, medical, dental, vision, paid time off/vacation, holiday pay.
