Start your new career as an Electrician with MAU with our client in Anderson, SC. As an Electrician, you will assist in installation of new equipment and systems, maintain the integrity of the plant power distribution systems, and troubleshoot plant equipment. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
 

What We Are Looking For:

Associate degree or Technical Certification in industrial electronics OR 3+ years of documented electrical experience Mechanical experience (preferred) Knowledge of AC/DC drive and PLC Logic Ability to lift moderate to heavy loads Availability for on-call electrical troubleshooting and outages

What You’ll Do As An Electrician:

Monitor and maintain plant electrical systems Be familiar with electrical service points as to number, meter in locations, over current devices, and primary conductor layout Maintain unit substations, knowing locations, capacities and general locations of equipment served Detect and diagnose electrical related problems, AC or DC, on all plant equipment, control panels, motors, generators, plant and emergency lighting and plant power systems Assist Electrical Specialist with diagnostic procedures related to electronic equipment Assist in installation and preventive maintenance of new equipment and local computer network Maintain records of meggin and/or nondestructive testing of equipment Read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and P&ID's Install short runs of conduit, wire, complete all connections and testing in accordance with National Electrical Codes, Company Safety Requirements and Sound Construction Techniques Conduct PMs on electrical equipment and calibrate as needed Assist in maintenance of gas burners and systems Trouble shoot plant equipment: Looms, Slashers, Warpers, Twisters, Cloth Grading Frames, Etc. Use electrical Test equipment such as: Volt, Ohm, and amp meters
