**Aerotek's client is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join their team in the Laurel, MD area** You will be responsible for assisting in wiring energy-efficient homes throughout the Montgomery County (MOCO) area. **Responsibilities** + Assist in wiring energy-efficient homes. + Interpret and work from blueprints. + Install and troubleshoot electrical systems. + Run conduit and perform residential electrical wiring. + Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local and national electrical codes. + Work in various physical positions required by electrical contracting work, such as stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, leaning, and balancing on ladders. **Essential Skills** + Electrical Journeyman license + 4+ years of experience as an electrician, including documented project experience + Excellent communication skills + Ability to lead or support teams as needed + Excellent customer service skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Capability to work in unconditioned environments (e.g., hot, cold, rain, wind, humid, etc.) + Comfort with working on ladders, uneven surfaces, and at heights using scaffolding, lifts, and ladders + Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to perform work + Capability of lifting 50 pounds of materials or a ladder **Why Work Here?** + You will have the opportunity to work directly for a growing renewable company that values professional development and offers a dynamic work environment. **Work Environment** + You will be working in residential homes throughout the greater Montgomery County area.
