**Job Title: Electrician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Electrician to perform inspections, repairs, installations, and maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment for a leading motor manufacturer. **Responsibilities** + Perform inspections, repairs, installations, and maintenance of electrical systems and machinery. + Read, interpret, and understand diagrams, blueprints, and schematics. + Install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, and components of machinery following electrical code and specifications. + Install and repair control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit-breaker panels. + Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus for machines and equipment. + Diagnose and resolve problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment using testing instruments. + Test continuity of circuits to ensure compatibility and safety of components. + Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using hand tools and equipment. + Receive and complete work orders, maintaining accurate records on materials and labor used. + Inspect job sites upon completion to ensure cleanliness and compliance with safety standards. + Collaborate with principals and supervisors to complete projects. + Operate tools and equipment safely and ensure they are in proper working condition. + Follow established safety procedures and techniques for performing job duties, including lifting and climbing. + Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any uncorrectable conditions to the supervisor immediately. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in electrical repairs, installations, and systems. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams. + Experience with conduit bending, wiring, and troubleshooting. + Knowledge of electrical codes and compliance standards. + Strong understanding of specifications and drawings. + Skilled in using testing instruments and equipment for diagnosing electrical issues. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Compliance with applicable electrical codes. + Ability to plan and layout projects efficiently. + Experience in installing and repairing control and distribution apparatus. + Ability to select materials and make time and materials estimates. + Experience with maintaining accurate records and completing work orders. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
