**Electrical Technician** PLUGERVILLE, TEXAS **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment in the build-out of new equipment in an assembly facility. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and process controls, as well as the ability to work with various voltages and wiring systems. **Responsibilities** + Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and process controls. + Use electrical test equipment and troubleshoot to a component level. + Work with various AC & DC voltages, 3-phase and single phase. + Install electrical wiring and conduits per National Electrical Code (NEC). + Work independently or as part of a team. + Install and terminate communication and video cables. + Occasional overnight travel to repair equipment in the field. + Use various hand and power tools necessary for job completion. + Work safely and in a timely fashion in every aspect of the job. **Essential Skills** + Basic knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI). + Experience with variable frequency drives/motor controllers. + Ability to read and follow electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. + Understanding software associated with PLCs for troubleshooting issues. + Basic computer skills and knowledge of applicable software for reporting and troubleshooting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prefer 2 years of vocational school in electrical. + Prefer 3 years of experience in a related field. + Minimum of 5 years of experience performing electrical troubleshooting or assembly. + Physically capable of bending, twisting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time. **Why Work Here?** This is an excellent opportunity for career growth with potential for contract-to-hire after 6 months.
