Electrician
Amentum is seeking a skilled **Electrician** to join our team for an OCONUS construction project. This project will last approximately 8-months. This will be an opportunity to work on a high-impact project in a dynamic environment. The position will require the following attributes and responsibilities: + Proficient at running conduit + Proficient at wiring and terminations to include but not limited to; lighting /electrical panels/fire alarm/low voltage controls + Install electrical components to include but not limited to electrical panels / lighting / switches / receptacles / control wiring / fire alarm + Assist with the project goals in supporting other trades as needed + Working knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs). + Communications skills, ability to interact with other skilled trade professionals, designers, and clients. + Knowledge of National Electric Code, state and local building codes. + Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products. + Use of testing equipment and hand tools. + Ability to work well individually and as part of a team. **Required Qualifications:** + Must have a Secret US Government Security Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Security Clearance + High school diploma or GED equivalent + OCONUS Experience + Current Journeyman Electrician’s License + 5 - 7 years commercial or industrial electrical experience + Experience with new builds, and renovation projects **Preferred Qualifications:** + Master Electrician’s License Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
