Entry Level - Automation/Electrician - Days

 

The Berry Global - Mankato Minnesota facility is searching for an entry level Automation/Electrician specializing in Automation to fill a day shift opening. This position will support the plant by helping maintain and repair production equipment as needed.

 

Duties and responsibilities include:

Maintain electronic & electrical systems in PlantCalibration of electrical equipment Maintain inventory of electrical componentsKnowledge & use of PLC’s and ProgrammingDocumentation of electrical systemsMaintaining required documents of equipment for ISOUpdating required computer softwareGeneral plant maintenance as needed

Education and Experience:

 

Entry level automation and electrical experience.  One (1) year exposure to PLC programming and electrical required.

 

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

 

Installation of equipment and fabrication of necessary parts, as needed.

 

Pay range: $32 - $48.49 per hour.

 

Hours: day shift; with shared on-call schedule.

 

Differential of $1.75 paid for all hours work between 5 pm and 5 am.
