Contract to Hire position$22.00 to $23.00 /hourVarious shifts availableReads diagrams or blueprints. Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit using such tools as a pipe threader, conduit bender and bandsaw.Pulls wiring through conduit, assisted by helper.Splices wires with knife or pliers, twisting or soldering wires together and applying tape or terminal caps.Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment using hand tools. Installs control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels, and fastens in place with screws or bolts using hand or power tools.Connects power cables to equipment and installs grounding leads.Test continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components using a multimeter. Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.Load, transport and unload material, tools, equipment, and supplies. Maintains tools and equipment.Electrician - Contract To Hire Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of electrical experience. Provide personal basic tools to perform job tasks. High school diploma or equivalent. (Preferred) Vocational or Technical certification. (Preferred) Able to remember and understand instructions, guidelines, and additional essential information is required.
