Job Summary:
Works Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment. Installs new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines. Performs necessary clerical duties with job and is able to read blue prints.The incumbent for this position must be familiar with a variety of the electrical field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct work of others. Provide support services in other fields throughout the Facilities DepartmentQualifications:
Requires at least 6 years of experience in the field or related area.Holds a journeyman electrician’s license for Council Bluffs, IA.General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, Life/Safety Systems, boilers, chillers, emergency power systems, UPS systems, pumps, motors, VFD’s, and Energy Management Systems.Thorough working knowledge of computersPrefer prior Casino/Hotel experience.Ability to learn and comply with the laws and regulations affecting the casino and racing industry.Excellent logical thinking skills and strong problem-solving abilityExcellent customer and employee relation’s skillsWritten/verbal communications skills.
