We are hiring a full time Electrician I, reporting to our Clovis, NM operations.
This individual will maintain the overall performance, efficiency, and reliability of all electrical needs for our Clovis and surrounding areas. What you’d be responsible forPerforming a variety of electrical and process control equipment maintenance duties at well sites/water plants, pumping stations and other facilities in the Clovis system.Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairs, adjusting, calibrations and fabricating a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment including portable and stationary generators, control circuits, motors, relays, switch gears, instrumentation, current loops, alarm circuits, engine controls, variable speed and level control devices, and programmable controllers. Evaluate part and equipment failures; order parts, materials, and supplies required for electrical and mechanical repairs. Assist with basic PLC and HMI programming and configuration as needed at sites. Interact with contractors and support installation of process control equipment. Assist other Instrumentation and Controls Engineers with the design, review, and implementation of process control systems. Ensure that operational integrity (quality, environment, reliability, health, safety and security) meet required regulatory and company standardsWhat’s required to be successfulThis position requires a high school diploma or GED, supplemented by a formal apprenticeship as an electrical worker or specialized advanced training in electrical maintenance and repair. Valid NM driver’s license with excellent driving record.
Journeyman license required.
Experience as an electrical/process controls engineer worker in the water and wastewater utility industry highly desired. Requires knowledge of utility system maintenance programs and working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and process control equipment and systems. Computer proficiency with Word and Excel.
Electrician I candidates must have: Four (4) years on job or equivalent experience.
Electrician II candidates must have: Six (6) years on job or equivalent experience.
