Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Electrician Industrial Mechanic to join their team. As an Electrician Industrial Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Electrician Industrial Mechanic 3rd shift **Location:** Dayton, New Jersey **Pay Range:** $33.83 per hour with a $1 shift differential and .68 cents for overtime **What's the Job?** + Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery. + Replace or repair parts on machines such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches. + Observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble. + Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, examining them for imperfections. + Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines, lubricate, and clean parts, and test device performance. **What's Needed?** + High school diploma or GED; plus one year of related experience and/or training. + Full understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and PLC troubleshooting. + Strong PLC troubleshooting capability and ability to read and program code. + Good working knowledge of electrical controls, mechanical assembly, and HVAC-related control systems. + Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including rotating schedules and overtime as needed. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. + Engage in hands-on troubleshooting and repair of advanced machinery. + Contribute to the efficiency and safety of production operations. + Develop your skills in a variety of mechanical and electrical systems. + Be part of a team that values safety and continuous improvement.
