Electrician – Part Time
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accurately maintain records of labor time, parts used, and work accomplishedPrimary responsibility will be the maintenance, inspection, calibration, and repair of all electrical systems and associated equipmentDemonstrate attention to detailPerformance of all corrective and preventive maintenance duties related to the above-mentioned systemsProvide electrical service and support to tenants, shows, and other eventsAdditional duties to be assigned depending on department needsPHYSICAL DEMANDS

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED Current driver’s license required Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in general electrical installation, repair, and maintenance of all electrical related building systemsCompletion of twelfth grade with specialized training in electrical installation and/or maintenance. Trade School or apprentice programPossession of Electrical license is highly desirableSKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed Demonstrate knowledge in the practice and procedures related to all areas of custodial, event set up, tear down and changeovers Ability to work independently, exercising judgement and initiative Works effectively under pressure or stringent schedule producing accurate results Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, tenants, and others encountered in the course of employmentMust be able to troubleshoot, analyze, and prioritize technical information to make informed recommendationsProfessional presentation, appearance, and work ethicNOTE
