Have thorough knowledge of the electrical trade. Assist in the support and maintenance of production equipment and general building maintenance & repair. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** + Be inclusive and promote a team atmosphere. + Assist in the training and guidance of electrical apprentices. + Implement continuous improvements throughout facility. + Respond to electrical problems within plant and take corrective action to solve. + Must demonstrate ability to work on production equipment in all areas of the plant. + Respond to calls from Central Dispatch and Team Leaders within the facility. + Follow through with special assignments given by Supervisor or Team Leader. + Work independently on tasks. + Have thorough knowledge of National Electrical Code. + Carry, climb and work off ladders and scissor lifts at heights of 15' or more to work on electrical equipment. + Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. **OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:** + Participate on Department Safety Team follow-up tasks. + Understand and enforce electrical safety standards. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** + High School Diploma or GED. + Possess a valid State of CT. E-2 Electrical Unlimited Journeyperson or E-1 Electrical Unlimited Contractor License. + Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical trade required. + Participate in Kaizen events. + Work with outside vendors and contractors when necessary. + Must be capable of using hand and power tools in a safe effective manner. **_Salary Range: STLG9 - $30.62 - $43.66 per hour, based on experience._** Edgewell is an equal opportunity employer.
