Summary: Seeking an Automation Electrician to perform assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting of advanced control systems in a dynamic automation industry environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
5+ years of experience as an electrician in the automation industry
Proven experience in electrical assembly or related field
Strong understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Familiarity with tools and equipment used in electrical assembly and testing
Strong knowledge of electrical components, wiring methods, and panel assembly techniques
Proficiency in reading schematics, engineering drawings, and wiring diagrams
Familiarity with electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, UL)
Ability to use a multimeter
Responsibilities:
Perform assembly tasks such as drilling, tapping, wiring components, creating cutouts for enclosures
Manage job parts ensuring all components are accounted for and organized
Interpret and update engineering drawings; communicate project changes with the team
Plan device placement, cable routing, and wiring for optimal system performance
Engage in debugging processes to ensure machines function as intended
Prepare systems for shipment including disassembly and labeling of components
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, push, lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Work indoors around mechanical parts with moderate noise levels; occasional outdoor work in varying weather conditions
Willingness to travel up to 30% for project installations (domestic/international)
Pay: 24-30

Pay Details: $24.00 to $30.00 per hour
