**Job Summary** The Electrician installs and repairs electrical systems, equipment, and components of industrial machinery, following electrical codes, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications. **Essential Functions** + Installs power supply wiring and conduit for new machines and equipment. + Connects power supply wires to machinery and equipment, and links cables and wires between various machines. + Diagnoses malfunctioning equipment using testing tools and replaces any damaged or broken wires and cables. **Other Duties** This job description is not intended to provide a comprehensive list of duties. Reliable attendance is required. **Required** + High School Diploma or equivalent GED + 4 years of related experience + Class “A” Journeyman Electrician License **Preferred** + Associate’s Degree + 7 years of related experience **Physical Demands** The following physical demands are general guidelines and may vary based on the specific responsibilities of the role: **Strength Level Rating** : Medium work. This involves exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. **Frequent Activities (1/3 to 2/3 of the time)** : + Reaching by extending hands and arms + Handling objects through seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or manipulating with hands + Using fingers to pick, pinch, or grip objects + Near vision clarity for tasks requiring vision at 20 inches or less **Occasional Activities (up to 1/3 of the time)** : + Climbing ladders, stairs, or other structures that require agility + Maintaining balance on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces + Stooping by bending downward and forward, using lower extremities and back muscles + Kneeling to rest on knees + Crouching by bending body and legs + Crawling on hands and knees + Perceiving attributes of objects by touch (size, shape, temperature, texture) + Speaking to express or exchange information orally + Hearing sounds and identifying their nature + Distinguishing differences or similarities in the intensity or quality of flavors or odors + Adjusting vision to bring objects into focus and judging distances and spatial relationships + Identifying and distinguishing colors **Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
