This role will involve setting up the brand-new production lines, flexibility is required. The Shift pattern is 6 days on, 4 days off - 8.5 hours per shift. **Key responsibilities include:** + Installs and maintains high-speed, industrial process equipment for can and/or end making, power, lighting control, and PLC logic controls for all production processes and control equipment. + Troubleshoots, adjusts and repairs all electrical equipment, components, transducers, and complex timing and inspection devices. + Performs preventative maintenance on assigned electrical systems. + Identifies inefficiencies and potential electrical problems and coordinates through supervisor to resolve them. + Diagnoses causes of malfunctions and corrects through programmable logic controls. Ensures efficient equipment operation through proper line control programming and proactively suggests methods to improve line performance. + Installs and troubleshoots facility power distribution and lighting services. + Must display competent ability to wire, assemble, and layout electrical/electronic systems in an extremely neat and professional manner and conform to Ball wiring specifications. + Updates wiring schematics and computer program printouts. + Supplies and maintains required hand tools. + Initiates, reviews, and follows all standard operating procedures (SOPs, JBSs). + Updates wiring schematics and computer program printouts. **What are we looking for?** + Experience in a similar role in a fast-paced, critical 24/7 manufacturing or industrial company + City & Guilds Electrical Installation Level 3, or HNC/HND qualifications + Clear communication across all levels and ability to train colleagues as needed + Ability to use basic hand and power tools and electronic testing equipment + Working knowledge of the following areas: nomenclature of all assigned equipment; solid state circuitry, electronics, electrical-mechanical devices, transmission systems, interface units, AC/DC motors, wiring diagrams and schematics, computers and inspection and digital devices. + Fluent in English **Ball Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
