Electrician Technician

For information about ABM’s benefits, visit** ABM 2024 Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members (https://www.abm.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/2024-Recruitment-Frontline-11.6.23.pdf) **|** (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) (https://www.abm.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/2024-Recruitment-Frontline-Spanish-11.6.23.pdf) **Responsibilities:** • Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment on-site • Perform electrical installations of a commercial nature • Plan layout and installation of electrical equipment, conduit, wiring and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes • Install electrical conduit, equipment, fixtures or wiring in floors, walls and ceilings • Install, inspect and test electrical systems • Perform installations which include but are not limited to panel boards, conduits, lay-in fixtures, wall packs, exit signs, light fixtures, disconnects, breakers, power distribution equipment and power supply wiring • Refer to labels, job site maps, instruction manuals, and written instructions to accurately to perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards • Report work orders, scheduled jobs and work progress to a foreperson • Ensure code compliance through proper installation of electrical components **Basic Qualifications** · Requires 4-year apprenticeship program and/or a current California Journeyman’s Certificate and/or Master Electrician License and/or California Electrical C10 License **and/or possession of an expired California Journeyman’s Certification with the ability to renew to have current California Journeyman’s Certification within 1 year of date of hire** with five or more years of progressive experience as an electrician. · Medium voltage experience is preferred. · Must have knowledge of applicable federal, state and local safety codes and be able to read, interpret and explain schematics and drawings. · Must be able to move/lift heavy objects, climb vertical ladders and work at various heights. · Valid CA driver’s license. · Flexibility to work alternate schedules as necessary. · Perform all other duties as assigned to meet customer critical missions.
