ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Installation and repair of wiring and conduit within the scope of the NEC (National Electrical Code)Repair and maintenance of electrical fixtures and control equipment. (Time Clock)Able to set and program time clocks.Planning for new or modified installations to minimize waste of material, provide access for future maintenance, lock all disconnects when leaving sign.Install equipment such as lighting fixtures, relays, ballast, breakers disconnects circuit breakers and fuses.Use the lock out tag out method.Identify and promptly report any unsafe conditions observed.Understanding of LED lighting and billboard mounted digital displaysMaintenance of billboard mounted digital displays, including repairs.PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS, ENVIRONMENT:
Climbing and working at elevated heights in different weather and heat conditions sitting, walking, standing, speaking, hearing, reading, kneeling, lifting, carrying a minimum of 50 lbs., multiple concurrent tasks, frequent interruptions, verbal and written communication, detailed work and confidentiality.
EQUIPMENT USED:
Safety harness with lanyard and other personal protective equipment, various ladders, a multi-meter to determine voltage, power tools and hand tools.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have 2 years minimum electrical experienceAbility without fearing to climb and work safely at elevated heights, 60ft or more.Read blueprints and schematic.Ability to troubleshoot and fix electrical problems.Electrical candidate should be a licensed electrician or be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge and experience to meet the definition of a qualified person in a sign/billboard work environment.Must have experience working with voltages from 120 to 240 single and 208 three phase.The salary range for this role is $19-$23/per hour. Compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate’s experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position, and collective bargaining agreement terms.
